AHAM ANNOUNCES THREE NEW STAFF MEMBERS

WASHINGTON, D.C. (December 3, 2015) —The Association of Home Appliance Manufacturers has added three full-time staff members: Muhammad Ali, project engineer, verification programs and standards; Christopher Doscher, manager, content development; and Evan Duso, digital engagement specialist.

The new staff members will play integral roles as the organization pursues its strategic goals of expanding its outreach to key stakeholder groups and maintaining its focus on technical standards.

Ali, who previously worked in product certification and compliance for Ametek-Process Instruments Business Unit, is part of AHAM’s Technical Operations and Standards department, focusing on technical standards and AHAM Verification Programs. He is a graduate of George Mason University. He replaces Rehan Ehsan, who was recently promoted to senior regulatory engineer in AHAM’s Policy and Government Relations department.

Doscher, who previously was senior writer/editor, policy communications for the National Restaurant Association, has been added to AHAM’s communications department and is responsible for digital content development and strategy. He is a graduate of Northeastern University.

Duso is a graduate of James Madison University and is responsible for digital engagement, strategy and social media.
