AHAM APPROVES NEW VOLUNTEER LEADERS

WASHINGTON, DC (April 25, 2016) — The Association of Home Appliance Manufacturers (AHAM) announced new association leaders at its annual member meeting, “Digital Destinations,” held April 22-23 in Naples, Fla. Included are AHAM Officers, the Board of Directors and division leaders.

The AHAM Board-approved officers who will serve terms expiring in 2018 are Board Chair Melanie Cook, General Manager, Sourcing, GE Appliances; First Vice Chair John Taylor, Vice President, Public Affairs and Communications, LG Electronics USA, Inc.; Second Vice Chair Pat Bassett, Vice President, New Product Development and Innovation, Jarden Consumer Solutions; Treasurer Joon So, Senior Vice President and General Manager, Cold and Home Comfort Products, Electrolux Major Appliances, North America; Immediate Past Chair D. Jeffrey Noel, Corporate Vice President, Communications and Public Affairs, Whirlpool Corporation.

Newly elected Directors, with terms expiring in 2018, are David Coffey, General Manager, InSinkErator (Canada), Emerson Commercial & Residential Solutions (Canada Council Chair); Steve Polinski, Senior Manager, Regulatory Affairs, Miele, Inc. and Helen Walter-Terrinoni, Global Sustainability & Regulatory Affairs, Chemours, Inc. (Supplier Division Chair).
