The Association of Home Appliance Manufacturers is the primary source of statistics on the production and shipment of major and portable appliances in the
AHAM also releases some monthly reports to the public which summarize industry activity on a product or product category level. These reports are made available through the press or on a subscription basis.

Data is collected by the U.S. Dept of Commerce, Bureau of the Census and reported by Trade Resources.
