AHAM APPROVES NEW VOLUNTEER LEADERS


WASHINGTON, D.C. (May 18, 2020)
– The Association of Home Appliance Manufacturers (AHAM) announced the approval of Patricia Bassett, Vice President, Global New Product Development and Innovation, Newell Brands, for a two year term as Chair of its Board of Directors, as well as other officers and members of the Board. 

Other officers approved by the Board are  John I. Taylor, Senior Vice President, Public Affairs & Communications, LG Electronics USA, Inc. who will serve as Immediate Past Chair,  First Vice Chair, Tim Ferry, Group President, Tools & Home Products, Emerson Commercial & Residential Solutions, Second Vice Chair Dochul Choi, Senior Vice President, Global Business & Technology Strategy, Samsung and Dan Query, Vice President and General Manager- Care, Regulatory & AHAM, Electrolux Home Products NA. as Treasurer. 

AHAM also announced the election of four at large directors for three year terms including Dochul Choi, Senior Vice President, Global Business & Technology Strategy, Samsung Electronics America, Inc.; Jim Patullo, Senior Vice President Global Operations Home Division, Spectrum Brands, Inc.; Winston S. Lindsay, III, CEO, Lindsay Manufacturing, Inc.; Dan Query, Vice President and General Manager- Care, Regulatory & AHAM, Electrolux Home Products NA. 

Also elected to the Board for two year terms were AHAM’s Supplier Division Chair Andy Chinmulgund, CEO, Bruviti and Canada Council Chair Daniel Zrubak, Vice President Canada and Country Manager, De’Longhi Canada.  The Board approved as ex-officio directors Kyran Hoff, Executive Director, Chief Engineer, GE Appliances, a Haier Company (AHAM Major Appliance Division Chair); Tom Siwek, Vice President, Safety & Compliance, SharkNinja Operating, LLC (AHAM Portable Appliance Division Chair); and Bob Davis, CEO and Managing Partner Cleva North America, Inc. (AHAM Floor Care Division Chair).
